Pear-shaped awls with interchangeable needles

These awls are fitted with a jeweler's pin-chuck that allows the needle to be changed by a simple twist of the chuck. Comes with 2 sizes of needles, but you can use any needle in your tool kit just by snipping off the eye. The chuck holds the needle very securely. With a heavy needle the awl is strong enough to push through binder's board for stab bindings, yet the size and shape of the handle make it comfortable to use for punching book sections or other delicate work.
