Book Arts Workshops 2013

Saturday and Sunday, March 9 & 10, noon to 6:30 at the Stony Creek Library: "Introduction to Bookbinding". On Saturday we will cover folding, tearing, pasting and sewing three different basic binding structures. Then on Sunday we'll tackle the Ethiopian style binding, an elegant exposed spine book with hard covers. You can sign up for one or both classes. Call the library for more information. 518-696-5911.

Friday July 26, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm: "Introduction to Papermaking" at the Adirondack Folk School in Lake Luzerne.

Wednesday August 21, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm: "Introduction to Bookbinding" at the Adirondack Folk School.
